The Powerpuff Girls was originally titled Whoopass Stew before going to Cartoon Network Studios in the mid-1990s.

1998–2005, 2009
The Powerpuff Girls aired its first episode on November 18, 1998. The show was the fifth Cartoon Cartoon released. The series concluded on March 25, 2005, after airing its sixth season.
This logo was reused in 2009 for the TV special The Powerpuff Girls Rule!!!.
2001–2002
This short-lived secondary variation was only used in merchandise until 2002.
2002–2011, 2020-present

This logo first appeared in the 2002 movie and it was later used as a second variation, usually seen in merchandise.
2014
In 2014, for the PPG special Dance Pantsed, the 1998 logo returned, but this time, the white outline became transparent and the large black area of the logo became white. The logo's design and letters remain mostly the same. It was the last time that the 1998 logo is used before the 2016 reboot.
2017–present (Hulu)

The 2002 logo was modified once again to identify the show as The Powerpuff Girls Classic, in order to distinguish the original series from its 2016 reboot.
