George Stephanopoulos left This Week for Good Morning America in January 2010. His interim replacement became Jake Tapper. The intro was changed to remove Stephanopoulos' name, but Tapper's name wasn't included in the logo, although he did get a name check from the announcer.
2010–2011[]
Christiane Amanpour made her debut on August 1, 2010, with a new opening and a redecorated studio. This Week also adopted a completely new theme with a prominent lead trumpet, but it was later changed to a heavier orchestral theme.
2012–2013[]
In 2012, George Stephanopoulous returned to This Week after a year of absence. A new opening was also made, as well.
