On September 29, 2000, Toon Disney was expanded to be available in select countries outside the United States, beginning with the United Kingdom. Much like its sister networks Disney Channel and Playhouse Disney, it initially used the Circles logo of the main channel, but generally using two-tone color schemes.

This logo was used for international versions starting in 2003, before rolling out in the United States in 2005.

On February 13, 2009, Toon Disney and Jetix were defunct and replaced by Disney XD. Most of the European versions (notably UK, France, Germany and Spain) were replaced by Disney Cinemagic during 2006-2009. The last Toon Disney channel in the world was in Italy and was replaced by Disney Channel +2 and Disney XD +2 in October 2011.
