Toys "R" Us opened its first Australian store in 1993.
1999–2008[]
The logo has changed with a red T, orange O, green Y, pink S, a backward R with a star outside, green U, red S. It stays until 2008.
2008–2018; 2019-present[]
In 2017, Toys "R" Us internationally filed for bankruptcy. On 29 June 2018, the company announced that they will close down all 45 Australian stores on 5 August. After the bankruptcy plans have been discontinued, Toys "R" Us is set to re-enter the Australian market on 11 June 2019. At the same time, it will expand into the New Zealand market.
