1983–1988[]
In 1983, Toys "R" Us expanded internationally.
1988–1999[]
In 1988, the colours were changed to orange, yellow, pink, both red, and both green.
1999–2008[]
The backwards R was placed on a blue star in October 1999. Despite this logo being phased out in 2008, it would continue to be used in some locations (especially in Europe) until 2019.
2008–present, 2008-2018 (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, United Kingdom (first era)), 2008-2019 (France)[]
The logo was updated in May 2008. Due to bankruptcy, Toys "R" Us closed all stores in the UK for good on April 24, 2018, followed by all Australian stores closing on August 5, 2018. However, there is a possibility those stores will reopen after the bankruptcy plans were scrapped. This logo also returned to the UK when Toys R Us' Australian owners brought the brand back to the UK market with the website relaunching in late 2021 and physical stores in nine WHSmiths in 2023, followed by 39 more stores in 2024.
