Tru Kids Brands was founded in January 2019 by a group of former Toys "R" Us employees set to revive the iconic brands in the U.S. and elsewhere. The firm owns Toys "R" Us and Babies "R" Us in every country except Canada. The name "Tru Kids" comes from the initials of Toys R Us.
