The 1979 logo was slightly modified in 2006. This logo continued to be used on its headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia until its removal in late 2019, months after the company's dissolution in March 2019, and despite the final Turner logo having been already revealed four years earlier.

On March 4, 2019, AT&T announced a major reorganization for WarnerMedia, in which it dissolves Turner Broadcasting System, while its units were dispersed across other WarnerMedia units. The company was then rebranded as WarnerMedia Entertainment. As of 2020, Turner is still used as a brand name for Warner Bros. Discovery Networks' Entertainment Group for its three US ad-supported channels: TBS, TNT and TruTV. The 2015 Turner Broadcasting System logo is now being used as the logo of Turner Entertainment Networks since 2019.

Since the dissolution of Turner Broadcasting System in March 2019, its former headquarters in Atlanta is now being used as WarnerMedia's (Turner's parent company prior to its dissolution on March 4, 2019), later Warner Bros. Discovery on April 8, 2022, Atlanta office which still serves as the headquarters and broadcasting complex or center of former Turner subsidiaries such as Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Boomerang, TBS, TNT, TruTV, and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). However, the 1979 Turner logo is still used on its Atlanta headquarters even after its dissolution in March 4, 2019 until late 2019.
