UChile TV (short of Universidad de Chile Televisión), is the TV channel of Universidad de Chile. Announced in November 2020, it started test broadcasting on December 30 of the same year, as a Chilevisión secondary channel on digital television, after an agreement between the two networks.
Chilevisión was the former channel of Universidad de Chile until 1995, when they sold the rest of the 49% stake to Organización Cisneros, then co-owner of the network. However, the ownership of the frequencies were still held by the university, until 2018, when an agreement of purchase were made, as well a deal to host the new channel.
