In 2005, the USA network was rebranded with a completely new logo and the new tagline "Characters Welcome". The rebrand was unveiled on June 20 and launched onto screens on July 8 for the season premiere of Monk. In April 2016, USA Network dropped the "Characters Welcome" tagline, replacing it with "We the Bold", and has since downplayed its on air usage of "Network".
