On 15 January 2024, an updated logo began rolling out on-air and on social media. This logo is also used as the iOS app icon since 23 January 2024.

On 29 November 2023, UKTV announced its intention to launch 'U' - a new masterbrand that will unite its family of free-to-air channels and its streaming service in 2024.
Launched on 16 July 2024, the move saw its current streaming service UKTV Play transition to U and UKTV's family of free-to-air channels becoming U&Dave, U&Drama, U&W and U&Yesterday. Its pay channels will transition to U&Alibi, U&Eden and U&Gold at a later date. The streaming service was officially rebranded as U on 1 July.
