With the release of Rayman, Ubi Soft updated their logo to reflect on their shift from distributor to publisher. This would be the first "rainbow arch" logo used in November 1994.

In 2003, the company was renamed to simply Ubisoft and introduced a new logo on September 9th, 2003. This would be the first version of the "swirl symbol" in order to reflect being a more older-audience developer, due to the acquisition of the Tom Clancy trademark and their support for the PlayStation 2 and the Xbox.
