With the release of Rayman, Ubi Soft updated their logo, reflecting their shift from distributor to publisher.

In 2003, the company was renamed to simply Ubisoft, and introduced the first version of their eye symbol in order to reflect being a more older-audience developer, due to the acquisition of the Tom Clancy trademark and their support for the PlayStation 2 and the XBOX.

In May 2017, Ubisoft revealed a simplified version of their eye symbol.
