Founded in 1918, Union Bank of India is a large government-owned bank headquartered in Mumbai, India. Its slogan is Good people to bank with.[1]
On 1 April 2020, Andhra Bank and Corporation Bank were merged into the Union Bank of India, as part of a large-scale consolidation among Indian public-sector banks.

Union Bank of India unveiled a new logo on 1 September 2008, consisting of the interlocked letters U and N. The slogan remains as Good people to bank with.
This came after the rebrands of the public-sector Bank of Baroda, J&K Bank and Canara Bank in 2005, 2006 and 2007, respectively, and the renaming of UTI Bank to Axis Bank in 2007.
