In January 2015 US Soccer unveiled a new logo.[1]

At the end of February 2016, US Soccer released a significantly-different crest stripping the shield back to essential elements. The soccer ball prominent in all other crests is gone as well as the three stars. The new shield returns to the proper US flag color scheme and adds the A to the US monogram.
