Universal turned 75 in 1987, as they were founded in 1912 a month after Paramount Pictures' founding, and in 1987 they celebrated their 75th anniversary, so it is somewhat late, and did not turn 75 in 1990, they were turning 78 instead, but this could be the anniversary of when Universal City Studios opened (in 1915).
