Mun2 2001–2015 In 2001, Gems Television relaunched as the bilingual Mun2, a spinoff of Telemundo .
NBC Universo 2015–present On November 4, 2014, NBCUniversal announced that mun2 will relaunch as NBC Universo. The scheduled rebrand took place on February 1, 2015, during the telecast of Super Bowl XLIX.
