Following redevelopment, Barclaycard won naming rights to the venue for a five-year period. The venue was subsequently renamed the Barclaycard Arena.

Arena Birmingham

2017–2020

In May 2016, the five-year agreement was terminated early. In September 2017, the name of the venue changed to the more generic name of Arena Birmingham.
