TV1000 (first era)
This basic logo would remain on the air in many incarnations for almost two decades (18 years, from 1991-2009).
In 1995, TV1000 added a sister channel to compete as well on the cable network against the movie channel FilmNet and acted sometimes as a timeshift channel for TV1000. The new channel got the name TV1000 Cinema (also known as Cinema).
Viasat TV1000/Viasat TV1000 CINEMA
Around the turn of the millennium, the channels added a circle with the word "Viasat" on its logos. In late 2000, TV1000 and TV1000 Cinema (Cinema) added 6 channels with 4 of them as timeshifts channels: TV1000 1, TV1000 2, TV1000 3 and CINEMA 1, CINEMA 2, CINEMA 3.
Viasat TV1000 (second era)
TV1000 went through a major overhaul on September 1, 2004, when TV1000 1,2,3 and Cinema 1,2,3 were rebranded to TV1000, TV1000 Plus One, TV1000 Family, TV1000 Action, TV1000 Nordic and TV1000 Classic, respectively.
The logo remained mostly unchanged; however, its colours were fine-tuned. New idents were created by the Bristol-based company Olaus Roe.
In May 2008, Viasat launched TV1000 HD - their first pan-Nordic HD movie channel - in order to promote the Viasat HD platform in Scandinavia, which by this time was available in the Nordics.
A new logo was introduced in Scandinavia on February 16, 2009, & in Eastern Europe on December 8, 2009. The new look was produced by Design for Media and Communication.
On December 8, 2009 TV1000 launched a new channel TV1000 Drama.
On August 1, 2010 TV1000’s timeshift channel TV1000 +1 (Plus One) was closed down.
