In 1995, TV1000 added a sister channel to compete as well on the cable network against the movie channel FilmNet and acted sometimes as a timeshift channel for TV1000. The new channel got the name TV1000 Cinema (also known as Cinema).

The logo remained mostly unchanged; however, its colours were fine-tuned. New idents were created by the Bristol-based company Olaus Roe.

The main channel TV1000 was also replaced with TV1000 HD in 2008, but later in the same year, TV1000 was relaunched.
