Viasat TV1000 Play was launched as a free movie and later series streaming platform for customers with subscription on TV1000 via Viasat or their partners. This streaming service was meant as a rewatch service were you could see movies that was currently on tv on the TV1000 channels anytime.

Viasat Film (Play)

2012-2020

In 2012 Viasat rebranded the Scandinavian version of TV1000 to Viasat Film, included as well TV1000 Play which became Viasat Film (Play).

V Series & Film

2020-present

In 2020 Viasat Film was rebranded as V Film. This was done because Viasat and Canal Digital merged to form Allente, and wanted to distinguish them self away form the former brands of Canal Digital and Viasat. This included as well Viasat Film (Play) which became V Series & Film.
