V Sport + was launched as Viasat Sport 2 in 2004.

The new look for the sports channel adopted a logo similar to Viasat SportN.

In 2008 Viasat Sport 2 was rebranded in Norway as Viasat Sport (Norway) and Viasat Sport HD (Norway).
2013–2017[]
HD variant
In 2013 Viasat Sport HD (Norway) changed its colours from purple to blue.
Viasport + (Norway)[]
2017–2020[]
In 2017, Viasat rebranded the Norwegian version of Viasat Sport (Norway) to Viasport +.
V Sport + (Norway)[]
2020–present[]
On 1 June 2020, Viasport + and Viasport brand was rebranded to V Sport. This was done after Viasat and Canal Digital (Satellite) merged into Allente. This was decided because they wanted to create their own brand and identity away from Canal Digital and Viasat.
