The TV channel was created on May 13, 1997 by the youth team of GTRK Altai. It was launched as an entertainment channel and broadcast on the 7th frequency from Monday to Friday from 18:00 to 20:00 and on Saturdays from 14:00 to 18:00. Initially called "ТВ-Плюс" (TV-Plus), then "Экспресс" (Express), and from 2003 to 2007 as a "7 канал" (Channel 7). In 2007, he began broadcasting with the Vesti channel. Local broadcasting was cut in half. There was practically no entertainment component left, there was more news and discussion programs (it was necessary to somehow correspond to the format of the federal partner). In this form, the channel managed to broadcast only about a year. Closed in 2008 due to the start of broadcasting on the 7th frequency of the NTV.
