On July 14th, 2016, Vevo unveiled a new look signifying a redesign and update to their strategy. Alongside this logo came an update to their smartphone app. The app now features many new features for music video enthusiasts. Vevo's changes represent a move the company is making in an attempt to become more independent and rely less on platforms such as YouTube.
