Viasat 3 is a major Hungarian TV channel, competing with channels such as RTL Klub and TV2. It was originally owned by Modern Times Group of Sweden, then sold to Sony Pictures Entertainment in 2015 along with Viasat 6[1][2].
Greek media company Antenna Group acquired the entire Central and Eastern European TV business of Sony Pictures Entertainment on 1 October 2021, including other Hungarian television channels such as Sony Movie Channel (now called Viasat Film), Sony Max (now called Viasat 2) and AXN.
