2004–2009[]

Viasat History was launched on November 1, 2004.
2009–2014[]
On December 8, 2009, Viasat History received a new look. Viasat Explorer and Viasat's other pay channels in Eastern Europe (TV1000, TV1000 Русское Кино, TV1000 Action and Viasat Sport) were rebranded at the same time. The rebrand was made by Design for Media and Communication, who had previously redesigned most Viasat-owned channels' branding.
2014–2022[]
On April 29, 2014, Viasat History changed its logo along with TV1000, Viasat Explore, Viasat Nature and Viasat Nature/History HD.
2022–present, 2022–2023 (CIS & Russia)[]
On January 19, 2022, the gradient was removed.
On March 31, Viasat World TV channels stopped broadcasting in Ukraine,[1] but in early September broadcasting was resumed.[2]
