In 1994, after noticing the public was no longer associating Petrobras Distribuidora to parent Petrobras' image, both companies logos were unified.
After its spin-off from Petrobras in 2017, and full divestiture between 2019 and 2021, becoming a pubicly-traded, privately-owned corporation, Petrobras Distribuidora was renamed Vibra Energia in 2021. Vibra, however, has a ten-year license (renewable for ten more years) to the Petrobras brand for its fuel stations (including Petrobras Grid and Petrobras Podium fuels), BR Mania convenience stores, Lubrax motor oils, Lubrax+ auto centers and BR Aviation jet fuels.
