Vietnam Airlines is the flag carrier of Vietnam and a member of the SkyTeam airline alliance since 2010. It operates a fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft to destinations across Europe, Asia and Australia. It also owns a subsidiary, Pacific Airlines (formerly Jetstar Pacific Airlines), and they compete with VietJetAir and Bamboo Airways.

Vietnam Airlines’ new Golden Lotus logo was revealed in October 2002, and became the official logo on 1 November. The logo and the livery was designed by Victor Kubo, who also designed the liveries for Alaska Airlines before 2016.
