Vodafone is a telecom company and mobile network operator in Ukraine. While not owned by the Vodafone Group, the Vodafone brand was licensed by MTS, the Russian telecom company that operated using its own brand until 2018, when it was phased out in favour of the Vodafone brand (used in Ukraine since 2015). MTS sold Vodafone Ukraine to Bakcell, an Azerbaijani telecom company, in November 2019.
