Vodafone Idea Limited is one of the largest Indian mobile network operators by subscribers, and the sixth-largest in the world, after Indian domestic competitors Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel, as well as state-owned Chinese telecom companies. It was created after the merger of the Vodafone brand in India, owned by the British Vodafone Group, and Idea Cellular, owned mostly by Aditya Birla Group with Axiata of Malaysia owning a small stake.

Idea and Vodafone merged on 31 August 2018, but both consumer brands have been retained. As such, there is no proper corporate logo, but only a wordmark set in Vodafone’s corporate typeface.

The below logo, with the logos of both consumer brands, is also in use as a corporate logo.

When Vodafone India and Idea Cellular merged in August 2018, it was the second-largest telecom operator in the world by subscribers after China Mobile. However, domestic competitors Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel have since overtaken Vodafone Idea Limited in the global rankings (though not the domestic rankings), as have China Unicom and China Telecom, thereby making Vodafone Idea the sixth-largest telecom company in the world by subscribers.
