In 1994, as part of a larger affiliation deal with New World Communications, WAGA-TV took the Fox affiliation from WATL, sending CBS to WGNX, which was initially set to affiliate with The WB. WATL ended up taking the WB affiliation.

This logo branding, currently in use by most of the Fox O&Os, is based on the Fox News logo; with their website names ("myfox(city name).com") based off of the domain for the social network Myspace, which former Fox parent News Corporation briefly owned.
