WCTX[]
2001–2005[]

On New Year's Day 2001, WCTX introduced its current callsign and officially became a UPN affiliate, with all WB programming moving to WTXX.
2005–2006[]
On September 19, 2005, WCTX changed its on-air branding to "UPN 9" (sharing with New York affiliate WWOR-TV) to reflect its cable channel position.
2006–2020[]
On January 24, 2006, Time Warner announced its intent to merge The WB with CBS Corporation's UPN to form The CW. Subsequently, Tribune-owned WTXX was announced as Hartford's CW affiliate, leaving WCTX's post-UPN affiliation uncertain. On April 26, WCTX announced that it would join MyNetworkTV; that network launched on September 5, 2006. As a result, the station did not carry the last two weeks of UPN programming.
