On June 24th, 2020, Cox Media Group announced that WDBO-AM will drop their ESPN sports programming and will mark the return of its news and talk programming for the first time since 2012. This change will be joined with its FM counterpart, WDBO-FM where that station's frequency will relocate from 96.5 FM to 107.3 FM starting on June 29th, 2020.

Then on June 29th, 2020 at 12:00PM EDT, the 96.5 FM frequency was filled with the launch of "Exitos 96.5" which utilizes the Spanish AC music format from it's previous FM translator, W297BB.
