WDCQ-TV, digital channel 15 (virtual channel 19), is a PBS member station for the Flint/Tri-Cities television market. This article covers the station's history dating back to its former parent station, WDCQ-TV, whose calls where given to the station in 2003 (WDCP-TV shut down on June 12, 2009, upon the digital television transition, with WDCQ becoming the sole station assigning itself WDCP's analog channel number as its virtual digital channel number) and the formation of WDCQ (then WUCX-TV) as a satellite of WDCP (then WUCM-TV) in 1986.
