At Midnight on October 16, 2017, Florida West Coast Public Broadcasting, the owners of [[WEDU]], took over WUSF-TV's broadcast license from its' owners, the [[University of South Florida]]. The call letters were changed to WEDQ, with a logo that matches that of WEDU.
