On May 11, 2011, Fox announced that it would disaffiliate from WTVW and move its programming to WEVV-DT2. (WEVV's main channel served as Fox's original Evansville affiliate from 1987 until the network moved to WTVW in December 1995.) The subchannel assumed the Fox affiliation rights on July 1, 2011, shifting the MyNetworkTV primetime lineup to a two-hour tape delay.
