In 1988, WFAN moved from 1050 kHz (which currently holds WEPN) to 660 kHz, at WNBC's spot. This effectively ended its entire 66-year run as a radio station.
2012–present[]
In 2012, with the launch of WFAN's FM simulcast station on 101.9 FM, its radio frequency was added next to the AM callsign (which was also shortened to make room).
