On October 1, WGBX changed its on-air identity to "GBH 44", using a modified version of parent station WGBH-TV’s iconic 1974 logo (redesigned by Minelli Inc. for the rebrand) that was introduced across the WGBH Educational Foundation’s Boston properties on that date.
