This logo would eventually be dropped due to complaints from ABC that the "Circle 7" logo was too similar to those used for its owned-and-operated stations; all of which were on VHF channel 7 at the time.

1981–1982

WNAC-TV signed off in 1982 and was replaced by WNEV-TV (now WHDH).  This logo was also used by KMGH-TV in Denver from 1974–76 and also the curve part of the KMGH logo was a little tilted.

1993–present

WHDH was sold to Ed Ansin's Sunbeam Television in 1993. As a result, it adopted a circled 7 again, this time borrowed from now-sister station WSVN in Miami.

1995–2017

7NBC

On January 2, 1995, WHDH-TV became an NBC affiliate, after CBS programming moved to WBZ-TV following Group W's affiliation deal with the network. On January 1st, 2017, WHDH-TV went independent with NBC programming moved to WBTS-LD.
