1981–1986

1986–1990

The TVX Broadcast Group purchased WLFL in 1985. It became one of the original charter Fox affiliates on October 9, 1986.

1990–1993

Paramount Pictures purchased a stake in TVX in two phases from 1989 to 1991, which would later become the Paramount Stations Group. They later sold WLFL to the Sinclair Broadcast Group in 1994, but it remained a Fox affiliate.

1993–1995

1995–1998

1998–2003

In August 1998, the station became the area's affiliate for The WB as part of a group deal between the network and Sinclair. Previous WB affiliate WRAZ switched to Fox.

2003–2006

2006–present

In 2006, UPN and The WB merged to form The CW, which WLFL became an affiliate of.
