WLNY's "NY 55" branding lasted between September 1996 and December 1996, following the call letters being changed from WLIG to WLNY.

1996–2007

TV55 logo

WLNY's "TV 55" branding lasted between 1997 and 2007. On December 31, 2005, WLNY shut down its analog signal and became a digital-only station.

2007–2012

WLNY-DT 2008

On October 22, 2007, WLNY changed its branding from TV-55 to TV 10/55 to reflect its cable and satellite channel assignments (Verizon FiOS, Cablevision and Comcast carry WLNY on channel 10).

2012–present

WLNY 55

On December 12, 2011, CBS Television Stations announced its intent to purchase WLNY-TV, creating a duopoly with the CBS network's flagship station WCBS-TV. The sale was completed on March 30, 2012. WLNY's new on-air logo was adopted in March 2012 and newscasts produced by WCBS-TV debuted in July 2012.
