This one features the call letters for WPGH-TV when the station was also known as "WPGH Fox 53" while the network's primary brand was called "Fox 53".
In July 1986, Lorimar-Telepictures buys WPGH-TV from the Meredith Corporation, additionally, the station was became a charter affiliate of Fox upon the network's launch on April 12, 1987. In August 1988, Renaissance Broadcasting, a company formed by Michael Finkelstein, agreed to purchase WPGH from Lorimar for $30 million; the station meanwhile had rebranded to "Fox 53" to follow the Fox network branding mandates, with the sale was closed in January 1989. In January 1991, Sinclair Broadcast Group announced it would purchase the station from Renaissance for $55 million, since Sinclair already owned WPTT-TV, which it had to put up for sale but it never happened, The FCC approved the WPGH-TV and WPTT-TV sales in June 1991.
