WQXR

The New York Times company, then-owners of WQXR, traded the 96.3 frequency to Univision and sold it's 105.9 frequency. In addition, New York Public Radio, owners of WNYC AM and FM, brought WQXR's call letters, it's library, website, as well as the 105.9 FM's license and equipment. Both stations traded frequencies on October 8, 2009 at 8 PM. WCAA was moved to 96.3 and became WCAA while WQXR moved to 105.9 and became a non-commercial station.
