The station signed on October 1, 1964 as WTSJ-TV becoming the first English-languge station in the island and the first to carry a full-time affiliation with a television network from the US mainland, that being NBC. In 1972, the station was shuttered.
WSJU[]
1984–1997[]
Channel 18 came back on July 29, 1984 as WSJU with the NBC affiliation from the original incarnation of channel 18 carrying over. In 1991, the station dropped NBC and became an independent station.
