On February 8, 2007, the station went off the air because of financial difficulties due to the death of their owner and losing their prime time programming. On February 3, 2008, the station returned to the air only broadcasting a test pattern for 24 hours. On March 13, 2009, their license to operate by the FCC was cancelled after ruling that the test pattern was insufficient, and all outstanding applications and permits were dismissed.
