BETTER LOGO NEEDED |
On January 24, 2006, Disney announced that it would acquire Pixar Animation Studios for $7.4 billion. During this merge, John Lasseter assumed the role as President and CEO of Walt Disney Feature Animation, which was renamed Walt Disney Animation Studios. The first film to feature this logo was Meet the Robinsons, released on March 30, 2007. Despite being changed in 2020, this logo is still used currently as an on-screen logo today.
2020–present (secondary)
The new Walt Disney Animation Studios wordmark logo was first seen Disney's 2020 Investor Day Presentation on December 10, 2020. However, the previous logo is still primarily used as an on-screen logo today. Currently it is only used for "Walt Disney Animation Studios Collection" on Disney+.
