On January 24, 2006, Disney announced that it would acquire Pixar Animation Studios for $7.4 billion. During this merge, John Lasseter assumed the role as President and CEO of Walt Disney Feature Animation, which was renamed Walt Disney Animation Studios. The first film to feature this logo was Meet the Robinsons, released on March 30, 2007. Despite being changed in 2020, this logo is still used currently as an on-screen logo today.
