From iOS 8.2 to iOS 8.4.1, the app was named "Apple Watch." From iOS 9 to present, it is called simply "Watch."
2018, 2019-2020[]
In iOS 12.1.1, the icon changed to reflect the Apple Watch Series 4. But in a strange turn of events, Apple reverted back to the old logo in iOS 13. The 12.1.1 icon was brought back once more in iOS 13.3.
2020-present[]
The icon was updated in iOS 14.2 to match the new Apple Watch Solo Loop.
