Goat Punishment is a pseudonym used by Weezer, usually used in small, secret live shows. It was the name used during Weezer's hiatus from 1998–2000. The name would be retired in 2002, although it was used in a live show in West Hollywood, on September 19, 2022.
Weezer (second era)[]
2000–2002[]
Weezer would return from their hiatus in 2000. Due to a mistake at Geffen Records, a slightly incorrect font would be used for Weezer's third studio album, the Green Album (2001), alongside the album's singles and promotional material.
2002–present[]
Weezer would return to their original 1994 logo, with the release of their fourth studio album, Maladroit (2002). All albums, singles and promotional material have used this logo since then.
