In August 2017, the West Midlands Trains consortium comprising Abellio, JR East and Mitsui won the West Midlands franchise. It began on 10 December 2017.
West Midlands Railway

Services operated in and around Birmingham are operated under the West Midlands Railway brand as dictated by the West Midlands Combined Authority.
London Northwestern Railway

Other services are branded London Northwestern.
