Community television station West TV Perth began transmission on 10 April 2010 on digital channel 44. A video test was performed on 1 April with a testcard and a promotional loop going to air. The callsign CTW-32 stood for Community Television Western Australia. The original concept for this channel was New Visions 31.
On 19 February 2020, West TV announced via Facebook they would cease broadcasting on 20 February due to financial difficulties and focus on social media and YouTube.
