In 1997, they rebranded as CBS Corporation after there main product, CBS. In 2000, after getting apporve for them to own both CBS & UPN, getting apporve to control 41% of all broadcast stations and battling in the court with Chris-Craft, CBS Corporation merged with Viacom, but kept the old Viacom name even after breaking up and taking this name with them remerging in 2019 under ViacomCBS.
