Westland Books is a major Indian book publisher. It was created in 2005 after the merger of EastWest Books and Westland Books, two publishing houses headquartered in Chennai in southern India. From then until 2016 it was owned by Trent Group, a retail subsidiary of the Tata Group. In February 2016, Amazon.com acquired 26% of Westland, before proceeding to acquire the entirety of Westland in November.

Westland’s imprints are Tranquebar Press and East-West; the latter name has been in existence since 1962.
